Best Ever Beef Burger

- 2 pounds 85/15 ground beef
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preheat grill to medium (375º-425º). Add ground beef to mixing bowl and season with salt and pepper, being careful not to over mix. Divide and shape into 4 equal-size patties. Using your thumb, create a dent in the center of the patty which allows for more even cooking.
Place on grill and cook about 8 minutes, flipping once halfway through the cooking time, or until internal temperate of 160º is reached for a medium burger.
