Looking for a wheat- and nut-free solution to the predictable PB&J sandwich? Wheat and gluten free tortillas are topped with sun butter and rolled up and can easily be eaten as is or cut into bite-size pieces.
Total cook time
- 1 gluten and wheat free tortilla (microwave briefly to soften if needed)
- 2 tablespoons SunButter Creamy Spread, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon jam or jelly of choice (lower sugar or no sugar added options are recommended)
Place tortilla on piece of plastic wrap, foil or plate (if placing the roll in a container). Spread SunButter evenly over the top then top with 1 tablespoon of jam or jelly and spread evenly over the SunButter.
Roll the tortilla up like a flute, cut in half if desired, then wrap it up in the plastic or foil to place in refrigerator or lunch box. If you have a reusable container you want to use, place the halves in the container, edge-side down, and refrigerate or place in lunchbox.
All recipe ingredients should be cooked to a safe internal temperature according to USDA guidelines. After preparing a recipe, please store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
